This is the second of a four-part series. Lauren Nelson won the title of Miss Oklahoma 2006 and then contacted Attebery to help her prepare for Miss America. The first month focused on her changing up her workouts that she had been doing prior to state to something that would help her do it more efficiently and eat enough healthy foods to recover properly and maximize results.  That first month was important to build her into this second phase of prep. We knew we needed to add shape and tone while having her come in long and lean.  This workout was 6 days per week instead of 4 with weights but shorter workouts, as we ramped up her prep towards Miss America competition.  The shorter days were intended to help her get her workouts in quickly during her busy schedule. Her nutrition plan is a general guideline, and you may need to adjust it as well along with the fitness plan for your individual needs and abilities. Always check with your Physician before starting a fitness and nutrition program to make sure you are healthy and ready for the workouts.
